New England Electropolishing has capacity and expertise to electropolish and passivate fabrications up to 9 feet long by 5 feet in diameter. Over the past 25 years, NEE has Electropolished thousands of chambers, manifolds and housings for the Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Chemical Production, Semiconductor and Water Treatment industries. We also electropolish oversized items used in the Marine, Home Building, and Food Service industries.
Many of our customers have rigid surface finish and aesthetic requirements. Additionally many vessels require electropolishing on wetted surfaces, ports and flanges which require specialized tooling, masking and surface preparation prior to electropolishing. NEE’s staff members are skilled at designing and fabricating custom cathodes that are often critical to processing large parts to specification.
NEE’s Quality Department thoroughly inspects parts before and after electropolishing to ensure that our customers’ finishing requirements are fully satisfied.
